ERGON SA is a leader in the production and distribution of asphalt products in Western Macedonia. Established in the market, as the most reliable supplier and manufacturer of asphalt surface is a result of better quality products and services and the modern equipment available.
Warm asphalt
The company has a sophisticated, high-capacity and environmentally friendly Asphalt production facility located in the Municipal District of the Municipality of Florina Vevi. The production capacity amounts to 160 tons per hour.
Cold asphalt
With the addition of special equipment the company produces ready to use cold asphalt and placing it on the market for wounded pits and repairing damaged pavements either bulk or in the 1000 (big bag packages) and 25 kg (containers or bags).
Bituminous emulsions
The company has also installed a modern plant of asphalt emulsions, the construction firm MASSENZA type 4000 * 2 A + B-SK total capacity 6 tn / h. Bituminous emulsions are produced and distributed (barrels) on the market in bulk or in 180 kg of packaging which is used in road construction for asphalt coats, coats, adhesives, filling surface cracks of pavements etc.
Respect for the environment is a key element in our company’s smooth and efficient operation.
The unit operates under approved environmental conditions and applies them owning the following equipment, instruments and performing the following actions:
• Uses LPG as fuel for drying aggregates .
• Ultra modern Filters for the extraction of dust.
• A silo collector is installed onthefiller and has a dedicated silo truck to remove it.
• The storage of finished products are fully covered.
• The conveyor belts for aggregates are completely covered with metalic protective covers to prevent dust escape.
Around the plant, the company has implemented tree planting.
HOT ASPHALT
The asphalt is a mixture of bituminous materials, sand and gravel. Asphalt is the adhesive which fills the gaps of sand and welds the grains of the gravel, just like cement acts to aggregate in concrete. Choosing the right type of asphalt depends on the use of road, the category and the design requirements. Also, the mixture will have a different composition for the use in roads in hot or cold climates and on city streets or countryside.

COLD ASPHALT
The ready cold Asphaltfix is a mixture of specific composition of aggregates, asphalt and special admixtures manufactured and packaged at the company’s facilities and marketed either in bulk or in 1,000 kg packaging (big bag), 25 kg in a container or bag.
The product is ideal for repairing pits and small areas on roads, airports, parking lots, etc.
Asphaltfix is a product ready for use, applied cold without any preparation of the damaged surface is required. No need stirring or mixing with other adhesive,it is safe to use, applied rapidly without any special equipment and the performance of the traffic is direct. Not affected by extreme temperatures, snow, ice, rain, heat, puddles and remains elastic for a long time after use, without creating any problem in traffic. No cracks due to temperature contractions – expansions and does not come off from car tires or pedestrians. The remaining material can be reused after opening the package for a period of one month. Can be storaged, without losing its effectiveness for twenty-four (24) months, without restrictions as to the storage space (roofed, closed, etc.). The product does not present any toxicity.
